Iquitos is a Peruvian port city and gateway to the jungle lodges and tribal villages of the northern Amazon. Its district of Belén is known for its massive open-air street market and rustic stilt houses lining the Itaya River. In the historic center, the Plaza de Armas is surrounded by European-influenced buildings dating to the region’s turn-of-the-20th-century boom in rubber production.

DAY 1: IQUITOS IN
Reception and transfer to selected hotel.
Overnight in Iquitos.
DAY 2: HELICONIA AMAZON RIVER LODGE (A.C.)
Transfer to our office of Operations located in the city and orientation of the services, according to the voucher. At the indicated time transfer to the Port of Bellavista, located on the banks of the Nanay River where we will board a fast boat to embark on our journey through the Amazon River to the Yanamono Forest (Black Mono), which has the recognition of having the largest number of tree species (More than 300 species) place where Heliconia Amazon River Lodge is located. During this trip of approximately 1 hour 15 minutes we will be able to observe the confluence of the Amazon River with the Nanay River and also enjoy the impressive jungle landscape and the picturesque little houses of the riverside villages.

After a well-deserved rest, we begin a walk in the Primary Forest of the Communal Reserve, for approximately 2 hours accompanied by expert guides and where we can identify botanical species such as Heliconias, medicinal plants and gigantic trees like the Lupuna (Ceiba Pentandra) whose dimensions Make more than 25 people surround them. Return to the lodge and rest.
After contemplating the beautiful Amazonian sunset, we begin an interesting nocturnal boat trip through the Quebrada Manco (If the flood of the river allows) or the Amazon River, to delight us of the magical sounds of the forest and in the light of the Moon observe the constellations.

DAY 3: HELICONIA AMAZON RIVER LODGE (D.A.C.)
At dawn, we begin the birdwatching tour of the Quebrada Cáceres or similar (if growing), where we will observe species such as Tuki (Jacana Jacana), Martín Pescador (Ceryle- Torquata), Coto Gavilán or black-necked hawk Busarellusnigricollis), etc.
Return to the lodge where a comforting breakfast awaits us.
Excursion throughout the morning by the Amazon River and in its gorges in search of Pink Dolphins (IniaGeoffrensis) and traditional fishing tours where the most experienced fishermen will feel the thrill of fishing piranhas and other varieties of fish. In the afternoon; Observation of the impressive Victorias Regia (waterlilies) in the lakes located within Yanamono Island (if growing allows).
At night, the more adventurous will have the opportunity to start a night walk around the lodge to look for and observe tarantulas, fireflies and other nocturnal species of our Amazon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 4: VISIT TO A RIBEREÑO TOWN (D.A.C)
Breakfast at the hostel. At the indicated time, we will start a program of "experiential tourism" that includes the visit to a coastal town knowing the customs and traditions of the people. During our trip we will again have the opportunity to look for and observe the Pink Dolphins and why not; To fish piranhas again
Return to the lodge and rest.
